He’s a man who used to work with their real father 35 years ago. There was a time when they needed a safe place to go just so they could be kids again.
Their uncle took them to the man and he eventually built a good relationship with them. She added, “My dad says he never knew he needed us until years later. You know and he stepped up and he’s our dad because he chose to be not because he has to be.”
