The previous season showed how the family led a happy and healthy life. But nothing guarantees happiness as they land in trouble. The finale revealed that the TLC star is ineligible to get skin removal surgery because of her vaping habit. She hesitantly revealed this in front of a team of doctors.

But that’s not all, Chris and his wife, Brittany, also had to listen to Tammy’s choice of gender to date and marry again. She told them that she was ready to move on in her life after Caleb’s death. Caleb passed away within a year of their marriage, leaving her devastated. So, she thought it would be unfair to her late husband if she fell in love with another man. Therefore, she said she wanted to date a girl.

TLC has dropped the trailer for the new season of 1000 Lb Sisters to give glimpses of the upcoming episodes.  The show will premiere on April 15, 2025, airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Regarding the trailer, Amy shared her experience of a camel biting her in the Tennessee safari park. She called it the worst day of her life.

Amy was meant to have fun with her family and boyfriend Brian, but it took a drastic turn after a camel bit her all of a sudden. She recalled how the incident involved cops coming running towards her vehicle to find any evidence. Both she and Brian were arrested for marijuana.

Even though Amy believed the camel was the issue and not hers, her family had concerns about her behavior. Amanda looked unimpressed when she told her that she had met a new man and wished to have her tubes tied for a third baby. As Amanda and other older siblings tried to intervene, Amy stormed off.

Last but not least, in the teaser was Tammy, who appeared frustrated with her own challenges. Although she acknowledged her ability to do fun activities and basic things, she hated herself for having hanging skin. Her appearance ruined her self-esteem since she admitted to having plenty of insecurities.
