Viewers Express Aggravation With Chris Combs
Chris Combs may be a widely beloved reality star, but he isn’t infallible.
“Did anyone else start getting frustrated with Chris this season?” one 1000-Lb Sisters viewer posted on Reddit recently. “I need to stand on my soapbox for a moment as someone who adores Chris.”
The OP went on to discuss how they felt Chris coddled Tammy throughout the season while simultaneously chastising Amy for doing the same things.
“Chris tried to get Tammy to drive and she wouldn’t bc she got too scared which I understand, but she needs to start learning to do things on her own, and Chris just let her drive the golf cart and left it alone for the rest of the season. Chris never tells Tammy when she’s wrong, even after the fight with Amy he was ‘staying out of it’ even after Tammy made Amy feel as terrible as she did that night,” the OP continued, offering examples.
They also added the situation involving Tammy’s housing. Instead of encouraging Amanda and Tammy to patch up their relationship, he offered her a place to stay instead.
“I wish Chris would start telling Tammy no, I kept getting so upset with him bc of the way he would seemingly let Tammy get away with anything and do whatever she likes,” the OP concluded. I still love Chris tho, that’s my guy and I’m so proud of him and his weight loss.”
