Gio may finally get a storyine.
Gio has been on General Hospital since May but hasn’t had much purpose. It looks like that may finally change.
Parent Trap
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) popped up in Port Charles at Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding. He stuck around because he was attending PCU on a music scholarship (both character and actor are talented violin players). Gio moved into the Quartermaine mansion with all the other Port Charles strays.
The character hasn’t had much to do. He sometimes hangs around with Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and often plays his violin. Other than that, he is just seen in the background at the Q’s.
His backstory has been that both of his parents passed away, but there seems to be a lot more to it than that. Hints are forming that Brook Lynn was his birth mom and that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is possibly his dad. The two had a relationship as teens while at summer camp. If this truth is revealed, it will set off all kinds of drama, especially now that Lulu (Alexa Havins) is awake. She and BLQ already have a very contentious relationship and this will only make it worse. And how will the young violinist feel about being lied to all his life?

Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Anna’s granddaughter has returned! The best Christmas present for the Scorpios arrived when Emma (Braedyn Bruner) came to celebrate with the family.
Before she arrived at Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms), Emma made her way down to Rice Plaza, where she was playing some kind of Robinhood by stealing a wallet from someone who stole from a vendor. Who did she find to help her? None other than Gio.
When Gio came to GH, he may have been a possible new love interest for Trina, but that never happened. Now that Emma has come home, the Q’s have coincidentally been telling Gio to get out there and meet people. Now, he met the Scorpio granddaughter. These two may make a great pair and could be the young love story Port Charles needs. Let’s just hope he is luckier in love than Joss and Trina.
