Viewers were excited to see yet another story of a big family, that too one hailing from Hollywood. Well, that excitement came crashing down only after a few episodes aired.

A lot of outlets and audiences are expressing distaste about the show. Usually, when the season is about to wrap up, people start giving their opinions about how they found it to be. For the unversed, Alec Baldwin discharged a prop gun on the set of Rust, fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

Baldwin, acting as both the star and producer, faced charges of involuntary manslaughter. Due to this, it became clear that the couple perhaps only wanted a show of their own with the intent of whitewashing their image. As soon as this came to light, viewers feel differently about the stars and have been expressing how they don’t like the show.

Well, the audience has not taken kindly to the Baldwins. As soon as the couple continued to justify themselves for the Rust incident, things began to deteriorate. Viewers feel it is the family’s attempt to desperately get themselves to be well-liked by everyone. Alas, it’s not working. Many openly believe Baldwin’s position and celebrity status have allowed him to avoid full accountability for the tragedy.

Due to this, there has been massive backlash about the show only after a few episodes since it’s been on air. Many have been wondering if it is an attempt by The Baldwins to rebrand themselves and build their reputation back up again. Since the couple began talking about the incident, many people have been giving condolences to the family of the deceased.

They are not at all moved by Alec and Hilaria’s statement as they feel like they can see through their actions. Many believe the show is the duo’s way of showing to the world how “sorry” they have been since the incident and hoping they like them better. Well, it’s all been getting backfired.
