90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7 introduced viewers to Vanja and Bozo, a couple whose relationship never truly materialized.
Vanja, a belly dancer, a baker, a makeup artist, and a medical sales rep from Orlando, Florida, met Bozo, a former professional basketball player from Croatia, on a dating app. Their online romance seemed promising, with Bozo expressing his love for Vanja and making her feel like his partner. However, when Vanja traveled to Croatia to meet him in person, she quickly realized that Bozo was not serious about their relationship. Instead of pursuing a romantic connection, Bozo treated everything as a joke and only wanted to be friends.
Despite Bozo disappointing Vanja and making her look like a desperate fool on a popular reality TV show, she recently posted an Instagram story defending him.
Vanja acknowledged that Bozo deserved criticism for his actions towards her during her trip to Croatia but defended the fact that he is a 38-year-old man still living with his mom. Vanja, originally from Bosnia, explained that it is normal for unmarried adults to live with their parents in her Balkan culture. Even married men often bring their wives to live with their family in one home, which can save money on rent and provide free childcare and a safe environment for their future kids while they work. Vanja mentioned that she lived with her family until she was 30, and when she moved out, her mom was continuously upset and worried that she would forget about her.
Vanja was nice enough to look the other way and not to mention that Bozo should have a job and a career by the age of 38. Being unemployed at such an age and tricking women on dating apps by posting old pictures and portraying himself as a successful basketball player, which he was not, is unacceptable. Bozo’s behavior not only misled Vanja but also highlighted his lack of responsibility and maturity.
